Secretary of State Maintains Terrorist Designation for al-Qa’ida in Iraq
The US Secretary of State determined In the Matter of the Review and Amendment of the Designation of al-Qa’ida in Iraq that the designation of al-Qa’ida in Iraq as a foreign terrorist organization should remain and that the alias Islamic State of Iraq should be added to the designation.
