Jason M. Erlich

Jason has been Ortega-Medina & Associates’ Of Counsel regarding California employment and real estate matters since 2005.

In his own practice, Jason devotes the majority of his practice to representing individual employees in workplace disputes including wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, unpaid wages, wage and hour violations, disability discrimination and accommodation, and family medical leave violations.

Jason was born and raised in Oakland, California. Jason graduated magna cum laude from the University of California, Los Angeles in 1994. After graduating from Hastings College of the Law in 1999, he was admitted to the California Bar in the same year.

Jason volunteers his time to the Worker’s Rights Clinic, providing assistance to low-income employees on a variety of employment related issues, and through the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Justice & Diversity Center working with unrepresented tenants facing eviction. Jason has worked as a union organizer on successful campaigns to unionize public-sector employees.

Jason enjoys biking, hiking, skiing, camping, traveling and outdoor activities. He has traveled, hiked, camped and skied throughout the world including trips throughout the Middle East, South East Asia, Central America, Europe, and the South Pacific.
