YES NO

Unfortunately, only business owners and essential employees from certain countries that have negotiated a Treaty of Friendship, Navigation and Commerce (FCN) or Bilateral Investment Treaty (BIT) with the United States may come to the U.S. as a treaty trader or treaty investor.

Nevertheless, your business may still qualify for another type of visa that is not dependent on a specific treaty between your country and the United States, such as a business expansion visa or an entrepreneur investor visa.

*NOTE: While we endeavor to keep the above FCN Treaty country list current, the U.S. State Department changes may add or delete countries from the list without our knowledge. We make every effort to update our website to reflect changes in the country list; nevertheless, we are quite concerned about the possibility of a Treaty Visa slipping past a potentially qualified applicant. Please consult with a qualified and experienced immigration law firm to verify that your enterprise qualifies for this type of visa.
